Stop-motion puppets lovingly fabricated in Portland, Oregon

About Me
I grew up in a rural area, watching a TV that received three channels. Children’s programming was a mix of live action and cartoons (like anywhere else), but we also benefited from all kinds of stop-motion content made by and available through the National Film Board of Canada. Like a lot of enthusiasts, claymation quickly gave way to fighting skeletons— I was mesmerized. It never occurred to me that making puppets could be a career…but here I am 25 years later, and it’s the best, scariest, most rewarding experience I could’ve imagined for myself.
When I got into this industry, I finally met all the people I had been waiting my whole life to meet. The crew I worked with on my very first stop-motion series are still some of my best friends today, and every project brings new friends too.
Along the way, I’ve had the honor of working on feature films with the most talented people in the stop-motion industry. I’m proud of my contributions to these teams, and I’m excited to see what new creative challenges are on the horizon.
I just love puppets.
